The bikes are really good and provide easy riding, not too much effort required. It's a great way to see the Amsterdam countryside. Don't be put off by the cycling mayhem in the main part of the city, 5 minutes to the ferry and it becomes much calmer and more civilised. Helmets are available but very few people in Amsterdam use them, maybe they lead charmed lives. They certainly ride like they are invincible! Please do try and arrive at the time specified…”

We used an electric cargo bike and both kids sat comfortably together. The kids especially loved seeing the animals and tasting the cheese. I enjoyed the serene beauty of the countryside and listening to the guide explain the history of the city.”
